We had a great extended weekend stay! Very comfortable and private. Felt like we were in a tree house. Would stay here again. Love how responsive Dane and his team were with the couple questions we had. Great experience!
We really enjoyed our weekend stay. It’s very secluded and private in a beautiful setting and well stocked with all of the basics. It dog-friendly too which was a nice bonus. And be sure not to miss the classic vinyl records and turntable - what a fun surprise!

A lovely community and stay. I provided some comments on checkout form. Primarily it would help to know when things begin seasonally because we thought we were going to be able to do some activities that weren’t yet viable. But otherwise loved it!
We love the Cocoon Chalet. This was our second stay there and it is just so well appointed and cozy with enough room to be comfortable. Everything you need is in that darling kitchen! The beds are so comfortable. I slept like a baby! The shower is absolutely fabulous. It’s just so peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely be back again.

The Cocoon Chalet was magical - every last detail by this homeowner has been thought out. And my daughters thoroughly enjoyed the gnome hunt. Will absolutely be back!

We had such a great time at the Cocoon Cottage! Secluded, beautifully decorated (seriously, could be an art installation), well-appointed, clean, and cozy. What a getaway—the perfect environment to unplug from the grind and sink into nature. We’ll definitely try to book it again in the future!

Wonderful stay! Amazingly renovated chalet decorated and furnished with an exquisite taste. Well equipped with everything needed, from the good sized kitchen and to firewood under the deck. Beds were super comfortable. Great access from the main road, easy to find. Loved the firepit, gnomes and the record player. Will be definitely be back to enjoy this tranquil place and the surrounding wildlife.
Wonderful stay. My husband and I wanted to get out of St. Louis for the weekend and it was the perfect place to visit and unplug. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and watching March Madness by the fireplace.

I booked two trips to same location and just finished my first trip- the place was amazing - the reservation check in and check out process was fantastic. I will be back in may for second trip and plan to visit many more times!!
