1715 Bear Hug Hideaway

We loved the cozy Bearhug Hideaway! Very clean and roomy! Easy access to trails and fishing nearby.

We loved everything about the chalet. It was so charming inside and out.

What is the most outstandingly the most beautiful house that I stayed in in a while it was perfect on a rainy day to watch the rain. Hit the lake and be all cozy and warm. We had a birthday party for my nine-year-old. She was thrilled the house was gorgeous thank you for letting us stay there again. It was just absolutely perfect.

We had a great weekend and it was everything our family of five needed.

We booked this property for a team building retreat. We had 9 people! All I can say is we can’t wait to go back and enjoy this place. The cleanliness, accommodations, fire pit, kayaks, Bags, stocked kitchen and so much more. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Me my girlfriends loved this property. We enjoyed the Sonnenblick Lake one day and took a short drive over to the larger Lake Aspen another day. The location is great and the cabin had everything we needed including comfortable beds. Would definitely rent here again.

The place gets a 5-star rating based on the fact it was clean and the bathrooms were nice. It would have been a perfect weekend if not for the chilly weather for golf!

I'm writing to review our unforgettable escape at the 1715 Bear Hug Hideaway. Our recent guys' weekend getaway was nothing short of extraordinary.  Our days started with 18 holes of golf at the prestigious Innsbrook golf course. After our first day on the course, we indulged in a nice dinner at the clubhouse and drink in the speakeasy.  Day 2 included BBQ on the back porch, while playing cornhole in the awesome game pits! The real highlight of our retreat was the boundless fishing opportunities, with over 100 pristine lakes to explore, including the Sonnenblick Lake just steps from our chalet's back door, with the active fish feeder. At 1715 Bear Hug Hideaway, the well-appointed accommodations and wealth of recreational activities exceeded all our expectations.

What a serene stay!! we went for a girls trip and this was the perfect home for our weekend trip! A great location that's secluded on a small lake, a short drive to a cute winery and pumpkin patch in the fall! The house had everything we needed, plus some!

This was a great place to stay for a family! The sleeping arrangements were great for having multiple kids. They loved the bunk beds! The best part of the stay were awesome outside amenities. Neither of my sons had kayaked before and they had different sized kayaks for all of them. My older son also enjoyed using the paddle board. It was super easy to get the kayaks in and out of the water and tie them up to the dock when they decided to switch activities. My youngest son also loved the lily pad. It was so nice to be able to sit on the dock as parents and watch them enjoy the lake. We also really enjoyed the fire pit and cornhole set too. It was also nice to relax inside and the TVs were great and easy to use. We were able to watch movies and access our Netflix account when we needed a little down time. This house had everything we needed as a family for cooking, personal needs, and entertainment.

Bear Hug was a fantastic place! Nicely updated furniture, clean space, comfy beds, and well-stocked kitchen. No need to even leave the property for the weekend. We enjoyed many waterfront activities - paddleboarding, kayaking, lily pad, fishing. We rotated between water, campfire, and the cornhole boards. Only suggestion is to bring towels. Very limited bath towels for use (we didn't ask for more, just did a load of laundry with the washer/dryer and detergent that was provided). Will definintely return to this property!

Our recent stay at the Bear Hug Hideaway was a blast.  The newly remodeled condo provides a perfect place to stay for a guy’s trip or for the entire family.  From starting the day with golf to ending the day with BBQ and playing in the lake it was an incredible experience.  The water toys that are available have something for all and the beautiful dock and firepit is perfect for those not wanting to get in the water.  Great weekend.

This was my first time staying at Bear Hug Hideaway. Absolutely loved the peace and serenity of chalet and private lake. The chalet itself was very well maintained and has everything you need for a relaxing family get away or time to reconnect with friends. Definitely planning to return soon and spend some more timing hanging by the fire pit and enjoying the private lake. Can’t wait to book again this fall!

Wow! This was our first time at Innsbrook and won’t be our last! Our place was amazing and our kids loved every second!
