The Turnberry Treehouse comfortably accommodates a small group or family in the 1800 square feet of woodland paradise. This property features two spacious bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a rustic, open floorplan, an indoor stone fire place, expansive deck with outdoor seating and grill, a cozy screened porch, and is packed full with all the essentials!

We loved the Turnberry Treehouse! The property was well-maintained with lots to do. The weather was too cold to get on the water with the available canoe or paddleboat, but we explored the grounds and down by the lake. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We have rented several times and always enjoy our stay. The accommodations are well cleaned and everything in working order. The location on the lake is nice and the chalet is tucked up behind some trees to offer privacy as well. Checking in and checking out instructions are always easy to understand and sent in a timely manner.

What a nice chalet set back off the road. Inside was clean and very spacious. A nice deck overlooking a big backyard and a small lake. We saw deer in the backyard and heard a couple owls hooting. We had a wonderful time at this cabin over a long weekend in April 2021. While the water is shallow right off the dock, we took out the canoe multiple times to fish the deeper areas and caught over 30 fish in 3 days! We all used a rooster tail lure if anyone is intersed. We caught 3 bass, and the rest were sunfish or crapie. Our 9 year old neice even put her phone away for hours to go fishing.    It was chilly at night, so we had a beautiful fire in the indoor fireplace. There is a small grocery store (Hanny’s Market) right outside of Innsbrook that sells wood that burns very hot and bright. The firewood we bought from Quicktrip was simply not the same.   If you stay at places in Innsbrook regularly, you should be aware that this place does not have a lot of “extra” cooking items. We have stayed at 4 other places and each had condiments, olive oil (that type of thing) left behind. I actualy enjoyed having all the fridge and cabinet space, and less clutter in the kitchen. There were plenty of pots / pans to make all of our food without issue.   While we stuck with the canoe most of the time, there was also a single person Kayak that was very nice. The kayak is quite wide, so it would be a challenge to flip it. We fished with it a few times.   The property had a paddleboat that could hold 4 people and had room for a small cooler and a stand up paddle board. We didn’t use either – But both looked to be in great shape. I think the paddle board is quite new. There were also many lifeperserves of various sizes, including very small.  We saw about 5-7 deer everynight, on the cabin property. There is also a small guy in the water swimming around, maybe a muskrat? It was cute whatever it was.   This trip was a perfect blend of outdoors with all the comforts indoors.

Our 2 boys and we enjoyed our stay. We loved fishing off the deck in the mornings and at dusk. And the kids loved the kayak, paddle boat, and standing paddle board. Our only wish is that we could swim off the dock - it was a little too swampy there, so we would take the boat out to the middle to swim. The cabin was very spacious and gave us beautiful views of the water and the visiting deer. Fun stay for all of us!
